In China,There are three very common emergency number :110 is for police,119 is for firefighters,120 is for ambulance.In the U.S. and Canada,it is 911.In the U.K. it’s 999 in case of an emergency.Dialing these number are free.
Dialing these numbers places you in contact with an emergency operator whose job it is to pass your information along to first responder such as police and firefighters.
If you have no any emergency,please don’t call these emergency numbers.There was grandson who had a problem with his grandmother,and he called 110 for scaring his grandmother.At the end,according to the law of the people’s republic of China on administrative penalties for public security,110 acts of harassement are subject to warning or public security detention for more than 5 days and less than 10 days,he was public security detention for 10 days.
