OpenFiler Deployment [04]: How to connect to a Openfiler server?

Windows 7 has intergrated with iSCSI initiator, we just run 'iscsicpl', choose 'Yes' to start the service.

(If your system is not intergrated with iSCSI initiator, just search it from Technet, it was easy)

 

Input the IP address for Openfiler server, click 'quick connect'

 

Got the target

 

Run compmgmt.msc, switch to 'storage management'

 

The LUN has been added : )

 

You can also check on the iSCSI server at status --> iSCSI target
