Today,VMware released VMware workstation 8.0,you can find more information from here .I’ll install it on windows 7 .
After installation,you must reboot you machine.
Click vmware icon on your desktop,you can see follow view:
If you use it to manage remote machine,you can click Connect to a Remote Server,Enter information about your remote server in follow dialog box:
Click Create a New Virtual Machine to create a virtual machine step by step like VMware workstation 7.
If you want to share a virtual machine,select a virtual machine and click manage from VM menu,select share options,the follow view is display:
After finish,the virtual machine becomes a share VM:
