所谓路由协议的收敛,就是指路由协议发现网内其他路由器并交换路由条目,直至所有路由条目都交换完成的过程。

OSPF协议在收敛后,应该保证所有路由器借口都在本地LSDB中。这就意味着网内所有路由器的LSDB在网络收敛后都应该是一样的。每一台路由器都知道网内所有路由链路。

在网络收敛后,协议使用SPF算法,每台路由器都生成一个以自己为根节点的最短路径优先树。路由路径由此生成。

OSPF协议维护着3张表,即邻居表,LSDB(拓扑表)和 路由表。 这三张表按顺序依次建立。

通过HELLO包,OSPF协议发现邻居路由--> 通过LSA的交换完成LSDB --> 用过FPS算法得到路由表

 

为了显示收敛的大致过程,这里显示了追踪HELLO包和ospf event可以做一个大体的了解,

这里用G口是因为以太口是广播型网络,路由器之间必须选举DR和BDR来形成邻接关系。

R1发送第一个HELLO包,到224.0.0.5组播地址。RFC上说第一个HELLO包应该是广播形式发送,可见厂商并没有完全按照RFC上来实现。发送自己的RID1.1.1.1,DR和BDR均为0.0.0.0,这意味着这是一台新加入的路由器,其并不知道网络中的选举情况。但有材料上说在初次选举时,DR和BDR值均为自己,但H3C看起来并没有这么做。

当R1看见自己的RID1.1.1.1出现在R3的回应中时,认为R3已经收到了R1的HELLO包,并且参数互相匹配。R1和R3互相都存在于对方的邻居表内,此时的状态由init变为2way关系。

此时R1与全部路由器均形成了2way关系。但是4.4.4.4和3.3.3.3是DR与BDR,而2.2.2.2为DRother关系。在广播类型中,路由器与DR和BDR形成邻接关系,与DRother保持2way关系,所以与2.2.2.2仍然是2way,但与3.3.3.3和4.4.4.4变成ExStart关系。

路由器通过向邻居发送DBD包来描述LSDB的摘要,每个DBD包都有一个显式的seq_number。

Loading状态表示DBD包已经完成交换,路由器根据DBD的描述信息,发送LSR链路状态请求数据包以取得自己没有的LSA。邻居路由器通过回应LSU数据包来更新LSDB。在LSU中包含了数条LSA。

完全邻接状态是交换链路状态之后的最终状态。一般情况下,成功交换完成的OSPF都应该停留在这个状态,但只有一个例外。在有DR和BDR存在的网络中,DRother路由器仅仅与DR和BDR互为邻接状态,DRother之间保持在2way状态。
