2.光模块:实现光电转换和电光转换功能的光电子器件

具体包括:光发送模块Transmitter、光接收模块Receiver、光收发一体模块Transceiver和光转发模块Transponder,通常说的光模块指光收发一体模块

3.工作原理

发送接口输入一定码率的电信号,经过内部的驱动芯片处理后由驱动半导体激光器(LD)或者发光二极管(LED)发射出相应速率的调制光信号,通过光纤传输后,接收接口再把光信号由光探测二极管转换成电信号,并经过前置放大器后输出相应码率的电信号。

三、光模块的分类与封装

目前常见光模块种类如下:400GE光模块、200GE光模块、100GE光模块、40GE光模块、25GE光模块、10GE光模块、GE光模块、FE光模块

1.按封装类型分类:传输速率越高,结构越复杂,由此产生了不同的封装方式。有SFP/eSFP、SFP+、SFP28、QSFP+、CXP、CFP、QSFP28等。

2.按模式分类:纤分为单模光纤、多模光纤。为了使用不同类别的光纤,产生了单模光模块、多模光模块。

单模光模块与单模光纤配套使用单模光纤传输频带宽,传输容量大,适用于长距传输

多模光模块与多模光纤配套使用多模光纤有模式色散缺陷,其传输性能比单模光纤差,但成本低,适用于较小容量、短距传输

中心波长指光信号传输所使用的光波段。目前常用的光模块的中心波长主要有三种:850nm 波段、1310nm 波段以及 1550nm 波段。

850nm 波段:多用于≤2km 短距离传输

1310nm 和 1550nm 波段:多用于中长距离传输,2km 以上的传输。

3.按传输距离分类短距离光模块,一般认为2km及以下为短距离。中距离光模块10~20km为中距离。长距离光模块:一般指传输距离为30Km以上的光模块。

4.彩色光模块主要应用于长距离的传输线路。光电模块通常称为电模块,又叫做光转电模块、RJ45模块,与光模块不同,电模块不进行光电转换。

四、光模块常见故障与使用注意事项详解

光模块常见故障

1、光模块端口被污染,会造成光模块无法正常使用。光模块端口有异物堵塞,可以通过肉眼清晰的看到故障光口被白色异物封堵,左侧为正常模块,右侧为故障模块。光纤跳线导接柱断在光模块内造成光模块损坏。

a)光模块的光口暴露在环境中,光口有灰尘进入而污染。

b)使用的光纤连接器端面已经污染,光模块的光口被二次污染。

c)带尾纤的光接头端面使用不当,比如:端面划伤等。

d)使用了劣质的光纤连接器。

2、光模块未插紧,导致光信号传输受限制;拔插不规范,导致光纤跳线导接柱断在光模块内。光模块在插上设备时必须保证插紧,卡锁卡到位。否则设备在震动、碰撞等情况下,光模块会发生瞬断、松动故障。

3、使用非标准的劣质的光纤连接器,损坏光模块。使用未倒角的非标光纤连接器在光纤拔插过程中损坏了的光模块。

4、使用劣质光纤跳线、使用破损的光纤跳线、或者光纤跳线被污染,导致光模块端口被污染。光纤跳线长时间未使用未做防护措施,光纤跳线接头积满了灰尘。使用时导致光模块端口被污染。使用破损的光纤跳线,易导致光模块损坏。

5、光模块的金手指导电金属损坏,导致光模块无法使用。不合格光模块的金手指导电金属缺失,并且光泽明显不够。

光模块使用注意事项

1、光模块在不使用时,用橡胶帽把光口堵住,以免掉进异物。

2、规范插拔,确保插紧,卡锁卡到位,避免在震动、碰撞的情况下,光模块发生瞬断、松动。

3、使用标准的光纤连接器,避免光模块的损坏。

4、使用标准的光纤跳线,长期不使用的情况下,光纤跳线必须安装防尘帽,以免在光纤跳线与光模块对接时产生光口污染。

5、检查金手指导电金属是否有损坏缺失,色泽是否够明亮。

6、光纤跳线插入光模块前,先固定好光模块的拉杆。

7、取出光模块时,一定要先拉出拉杆,再通过拉杆取出光模块,禁止暴力取出。

五、交换机光模块故障排查步骤

1、检查光纤跳线是否与光模块相符

常见的多模光纤跳线有橙色、灰色和青绿色,而且一般印有62.5/125u或50/125u字样;单模光纤跳线通常有黄色和蓝色等,一般印有9/125u或G652D等字样

2、自环检查

多模光模块发出的光为可见光,可以用肉眼观察(请勿直视发光口)光模块左边发光口为红色激光,有光表示正常工作。 单模块发出的光为不可见光,可以用跳线把光模块的发射口和接收口对接起来,如果交换机工作状态灯亮表示工作正常。

3、端口配置

如依然不能正常通讯,我们则需要做下面的配置,以H3C 5024P为例。现在我们一些常用的交换机端口为光电复用型,大多数光口仍处于关闭状态,这些需要人工把端口开启,而对于不同品牌的交换机之间的通讯,我们还需要把端口速率和工作模式强制配置成1000Mpbs和全双工模式

4、确认是否兼容

光模块通常需要写入厂商信息等,也就是我们常说的兼容性,如通讯仍不能正常,请与客服联系您的光模块是否与您的设备兼容。

六、交换机光模块常见故障

1.发现无法识别的光模块,可重新插拔或者更换光模块。

2.发现接口抖动的情况,可能原因是光模块有问题,导致接口有错误包,或者光纤有问题。

解决办法:首先查看两边收发光是否正常,其次判断两边接口下是否有error包,crc包,丢包等。一般是入方向有error包,crc包,此时可通过更换对端光模块尝试解决。

3.一般情况下,如果发现接口出方向有丢包,可通过更换光模块尝试解决。

链路down的情况,可查看是否是err-down,这种情况一般是是有错误包过多导致的,或者光纤问题。如果有错误包,可直接更换光模块尝试恢复。err-down的端口,在更换光模块后一般需要手动shutdown,no/undo shutdown才能恢复。

4.RX / TX low的情况导致接口不up的情况:

如果TX low:是本端没发光,现判断本端端口是否关闭,如果没有关闭,插拔或者更换光模块尝试解决。

如果RX low:是收光低,可能是对端光模块发光低,也可能是光纤问题,或者本端光模块可能也有问题。需要通过更换尝试解决。

通过将两个端口自环测试,可确定是光模块问题还是交换机端口有问题。
