windows 篇：

RAID5在线扩容

实验背景：由于服务器存储数据量的增加，原来的硬盘容量已不足以满足数据存储的要求，这种情况下在保证数据安全性不变的情况下就需要对磁盘阵列进行扩容。

实验目的：在不影响服务器正常运行的情况下增加原磁盘阵列的容量

实验环境：DELL R710服务器三块146GSAS（15K）硬盘做的RAID5 PERC 6/i的阵列卡

注：DELL服务器对RAID阵列的扩容操作很简单，但扩容之前最好做磁盘备份以免数据丢失造成不必要的损失

具体操作步骤：

1.安装Server Admin：光驱放入DELL引导光盘--->安装Server Admin 默认安装即可
2.将一块新的146G硬盘插入服务器中（硬盘必须和原来的硬盘一样，至于原因了解磁盘阵列的都应该明白）
3.打开Server Admin---->存储---->虚拟磁盘---->重新配置---->选择硬盘--->RAID级别（RAID5）---->开始

4.扩容过程时间长短会因原磁盘数据多少而不同。

LINUX 篇 :

关于Dell服务器如何在Linux环境下扩容，索性总结下具体操作步骤，Linux下扩容界面和我之前写过的一篇关于windows平台下阵列扩容操作界面差不多（链接：http://bbs.51cto.com/thread-921693-1.html），只是工具软件版本及其安装方法不同（备注：服务器随机带的蓝色光盘已集成了windows和linux平台下的SA，直接放入光盘即可），Windows下面的安装相对来说简单的多，下面讲下Linux下的安装步骤：

①、首先进行加载光驱：

[root@localhost root]# mount /dev/cdrom /mnt
mount: block device /dev/cdrom is write-protected, mounting read-only

②、放光盘进行手动安装：

[root@localhost root]# cd /mnt/srvadmin/linux/supportscripts/
新版本光盘的路径是cd /mnt/SYSMGMT/srvadmin/linux/supportscripts        【备注：注意此处的路径】
[root@localhost supportscripts]# ls
prereqcheck  srvadmin-install.sh  srvadmin-openipmi.sh  srvadmin-services.sh  srvadmin-uninstall.sh
(运行srvadmin-install.sh进行安装)
[root@localhost supportscripts]# ./srvadmin-install.sh

使用：网页访问 https://IP:1311 ；登录账户就是root的用户名跟密码

正常进入到图形化的扩容界面，非常直观明了，前面提过和windows的界面差不多，这里不再赘述，所以请大家参考http://bbs.51cto.com/thread-921693-1.html。
