首先要确认是否安装了ethtool工具。
[root@eden /]# rpm -q ethtool
ethtool-6-2.20090115git.fc10.x86_64
        安装好后，可以是用ethtool来查看本地连接是否连接了，并查看连接的速度
[root@eden /]# ethtool eth0
Settings for eth0:
    Supported ports: [ TP MII ]
    Supported link modes:   10baseT/Half 10baseT/Full
                            100baseT/Half 100baseT/Full

概要：
ethtool ethX      //查询ethX网口基本设置
ethtool –h        //显示ethtool的命令帮助(help)
ethtool –i ethX    //查询ethX网口的相关信息
ethtool –d ethX    //查询ethX网口注册性信息
ethtool –r ethX    //重置ethX网口到自适应模式
ethtool –S ethX    //查询ethX网口收发包统计
