Control file is a binary file which is so small . The control file can
tell instance where database and online redo log are . But who
tells instance where control file is ? That is parameter file .
At the same time , control file also tell oracle other information
about checkpoint ,the name of the database ,the timestamp of
the database, redo log history and RMAN information note: Oracle strongly recommends that your database has a mininum of two
control files and that they are located on seperae physical disks .
