Like I told you guys over the past few weeks, Silverlight 2.0 Beta 1 was to be released on March 05. Yes, confirmed! Silverlight 2.0 Beta 1.0 run-time binaries, SDK, source code and documentation are now available for download.

Notes:
Silverlight 2.0 Beta 1 is backwards incompatible with 1.1 Alpha (see also Breaking Changes in Silverlight 2) and backwards compatible with Silverlight 1.0.
I'm not sure whether 1.1 Alpha and 2 Beta 1 can be installed side by side. On my machine, I needed to uninstall the 1.1 runtime before I could run 2.0 applications. We will soon receive all the information we need on this topic.
If you're planning to install Microsoft Silverlight Tools Beta 1 for Visual Studio 2008, you do not need to install the SDK.
